Headed across the country on tour with CR Avery in support of ‘The Great Canadian Novel’. Playing a bunch of new arrangements ay some amazing venues including The Glenn Gould Theatre in Toronto, The National Arts Centre in Ottawa, The West End Cultural Centre in Winnipeg, and a CBC Vancouver ‘tuque sessions’ recording for Canada Live.

The Fugitives new 5-track EP “Find Me” is their first overture in a musical conversation with the many, many, many, (many) people in the world who they don’t know. The Fugitives followed stories of strangers through newspaper articles, interviews, and good old-fashioned eavesdropping. The result is a thread of narrative songs which explore the extremes of solitude and isolation.

This conversation will be completed with the release of a full-length concept album due out in March 2010.
